How to Get Rid of Acne Overnight – 3 Proven Methods

If you want to learn how to get rid of acne overnight then you must first find out what are the factors that cause acne. Usually, acne is due to hormonal imbalances, stress, bad eating habits, low self-care, acne bacteria, or it might be hereditary; just to name a few. Acne is very hard to handle, especially when it appears in the teenage years. In severe cases it can lead to anxiety and depression due to a low self-esteem and confidence. As acne can be a very disturbing illness to cope with let’s take a look at three simple solutions to get rid of acne overnight.

First method to get rid of acne fast would be applying toothpaste on the infected area. Let it do its magic for 10-15 minutes then wash your face with warm water and acne face wash. Lastly, use a clean towel to pat it dry. The second step would be applying a Q-tip dipped in alcohol on and around the pimples and zits. Use this method right before going to sleep. In the morning the pimples should disappear. Notice: Change your pillow case as often as possible, to prevent the acne bacteria from spreading even more all over your face.

Using an ice-pack. Unfortunately, this doesn’t remove the pimples – it just hides them. The proven homemade acne remedy is applying an ice-pack on the blemishes with the sole purpose of reducing the swelling. If it won’t completely remove the zit, do it again the following day. It usually takes “the ice-pack method” a few days so you won’t get rid of acne overnight but this method has proved to be effective.

What might look like dirt inside your blackheads is in fact melanin, the pigment that provided the natural color of your skin. Contrary to what you have been led to believe, your pores don’t get blocked from the top down, most of the acne begins on the inside of your skin in your hair follicle.
